Notte Americana srl is a brand new film production company, born in 2021 from the encounter between Luciana Dedola, Steve Della Casa and Valentina Noya.
The company’s current registered office is in Rome. In 2022 we will be opening two new branches in Sardinia and in Turin. The editorial line is mostly oriented towards creative documentaries. Amongst the works in progress for 2022 there are some fiction projects, two documentaries and a series employing new technologies applied to cinema, such as VR.

After a short experience in advertising and digital publishing at Il Sole 24 Ore, Luciana joined RAI, where she worked in several departments, amongst them Marketing, International Relations and Communication. During more than 20 years spent abroad, Luciana has tried her hand at several areas of the creative industry. She is currently based in London.

In 2021 she founded in Italy the production company Notte Americana.

Valentina Noya

She works as project manager for the National Cinema Museum Association in Turin and she is the director of the LiberAzioni festival – art inside and outside prison. She is the producer of the documentary VR Free, a virtual reality film by Milad Tangshir, 360 ° format (10 ‘, 2019), presented in Cannes 2019 at the Italian Pavilion for the first VR app by Rai Cinema Channel, officially selected at the 76esima Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia. Winner of Bogotà Short Film Festival in 2019 and selected on New Frontier, Sundance Film Festival 2020, among many others. The Apgar Score is her first documentary in development as film director with the support of the Film Commission Torino Piemonte. Math is Weird, an interactive animated VR directed by Ana Corrie is in development as her next production.

Steve is one of the founders and the current Artistic Director of the Torino Film Festival. He had been previously at the helm of the Festival from the foundation until 2002. From 2006 to 2013 he chaired the Film Commission Torino Piemonte. Since 1994 he is the author and host of Hollywood Party, a programme about movies and cinema aired daily by Radio Rai3. He collaborates regularly with the newspaper La Stampa. Winner of two Nastri d’Argento for the documentaries I Tarantiniani and Perché sono un genio – Lorenza Mazzetti. He recently co-wrote Django & Django – Sergio Corbucci unchained, presented out of competition at Venice International Film Festival.
